Healthy Families Foundation
Botswana, Africa
Healthy Families Foundation (HFF) began in response to extensive Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Botswana. Originally serving as Baptist missionaries, Co-Founders Percy and Ashley Thaba began HFF in 2018 through their popular TV series promoting healthy family dynamics based on the foundations of Christian Faith. Since then, the Thabas and HFF’s ministry teams have coordinated eleven three-week-long campaigns throughout Botswana. HFF impacts thousands of participants in each campaign, effectively covering all of Botswana’s regional districts. They also teach a curriculum in small groups hosted in the local tribes with leaders grown from each respective area. HFF enjoys growing support from multiple governmental offices and tribal chiefs within Botswana. HFF has emerged as a vital ministry with proven positive impacts throughout Botswana and now the opportunity to expand its ministry into all of Southern Africa. With support from CBC, HFF has begun construction of a Regional Training Center in Gaborone, Botswana’s capitol. Their goal is to complete the training facility, capable of hosting hundreds per event, by the end of 2027
